Sometimes, due to varying moisture levels, Molly's Potting Mixes may develop a strange odor. This is usually the result of the microorganisms in the bag feeding on the organic ingredients. While this is a beneficial process, it can cause an unpleasant smell. Once the bag is opened, any odors usually dissipate quickly with increased air exposure and circulation.
